Woodwinds and Reeds Stems

AudioPod separates woodwind and reed instruments from any song on the Creator plan and above: upload the track to the Stem Splitter and pick saxophone, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, harmonica, bagpipes or the whole woodwind section — AudioStems, AudioPod's stem-separation engine, returns each as its own file, at 1,320 credits per minute for the Creator+ isolators.

How it works

Step by step

  1. 01

Open the Stem Splitter and upload a song or paste a link.

  2. 02

Switch to Isolate (or Remove) and pick the woodwinds and reeds rows you need.

  3. 03

Check the credit quote — it is shown before anything runs.

  4. 04

Download each part. Download as MP3, WAV or FLAC, with 16- or 24-bit for WAV and FLAC, on every plan — the format changes the files, not the price.

Choosing between woodwinds and reeds options

  • Clarinet and saxophone are both single reeds; when they play the same line, run both isolators and keep the cleaner result.
  • Oboe and bassoon are the double reeds; the bassoon is often doubled by cellos, and part of a doubled line can stay with the strings.
  • Woodwind (ensemble) takes the orchestral section as one file; the single isolators split it, each at its own price.
  • Bagpipe drones are part of the instrument, so they stay in the stem with the melody.
  • Harmonica often plays beside an acoustic guitar in folk and blues; isolate both in one job to rebuild the duo — the two prices add together.

Good uses

  • Transcribing a sax, flute or clarinet solo.
  • A part-minus practice track for a wind-band or orchestral excerpt.
  • Taking the harmonica or pipes out of a folk or Celtic-rock track.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Should I pick Clarinet or Saxophone?

Whichever you hear — both are single reeds and can sound alike in the low register. If you are not sure, pick both in one job (the prices add together) and keep the file that holds the part.

Are bagpipes and harmonica here?

Yes. Both are reed instruments in the catalog, each with its own isolator; the bagpipes stem keeps the drones with the chanter.

How much does it cost to isolate woodwind and reed instruments?

Each row in the table is one price group, charged per minute of source audio: every row is 1,320 credits per minute. Picking several groups in one job adds their prices. A 4-minute song through one 1,320-credit isolator is 5,280 credits — about $0.70 pay-as-you-go — and Creator's monthly credits cover about 37 songs that long.

Which woodwind and reed instruments are on the free plan?

None of these isolators: Basic includes the standard split (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other). The woodwinds and reeds isolators belong to the 45-instrument menu that Creator and above unlock; every public plan meters stems from credits. See pricing for plan prices.

Can I remove one of these and keep the rest of the song?

Yes for Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Harmonica, Bagpipes and Woodwind (ensemble): switch the Stem Splitter to Remove mode and pick it. Removing costs the same and needs the same plan as isolating.
