Which voices can I convert into?

Your own voice clones, and the catalogue voices that are held as real recordings. Conversion needs a stored reference of the target to work from, so the target list is shorter than the full voice catalogue — a voice that exists only as a preview is fine for reading text but cannot be converted toward. If the list looks short, that is why.

How do I make a voice to convert into?

Clone one in Voice Studio from a short reference recording — as little as 5 seconds of clean audio, up to 60. Cloning is available on the free tier with a capped number of saved voices, and unlimited on Creator and above. Once the voice finishes training it appears as a conversion target.

Overlapping speakers, room echo, background noise and distant microphone placement all survive into the result, because the tool is reproducing the performance it was given.
