A three-way split for speech rather than songs: dialogue, the music bed and sound effects as separate files. When to use it instead of the vocal split, what it costs on Creator+, and what separates poorly.
Lesson 12 · advanced · 5 min read
Open Stem SplitterFilm, video and podcast audio is usually three things at once: people talking, music underneath, and effects on top. The dialogue split pulls those apart into 3 files — dialogue, background music and sound effects — so you can keep the voice without the music, or keep everything except the score.
Pick by what is in the recording, not by what you want to remove.
990 credits per minute of source audio, whichever of the 3 outputs you take. Each output group is priced by the source audio duration. Standard split presets share the core rate; specialty vocal and instrument groups add their own prices. Selecting more outputs within the same group does not add another charge.
Note
Separating a soundtrack does not change who owns it. Only process audio you have the right to use.
