The things that actually catch people out, indexed by what you noticed rather than by which control caused it.

Open Music StudioMost problems here are not the studio misbehaving. They are a control doing exactly what it says while you expected something else, or a description asking for two incompatible things at once. This page is indexed by what you noticed.
Almost always the seed. If Seed moves between runs, every generation differs regardless of what else you touched, and a real change is indistinguishable from noise. Pin the seed, change exactly one control, generate again, and compare like for like.
Tip
This is also the fastest way to learn what any control does. Fixed seed, one control swept end to end, 2 takes each time — you will hear the difference in a couple of minutes.
Controls that only appear in some modes
The instinct is to generate again. Resist it — a fresh generation throws away the parts that worked and gives you a new set of problems to solve.
Another take of the same idea. Low variance nudges it; high variance reinterprets it.
Add an intro or an outro, up to a minute on either end, matched to the existing style.
Pick a time range and regenerate just that part. Everything outside it is untouched.
Change the lyrics or remix the arrangement without starting over.
Note
If a whole run is unusable, look at the description before regenerating. Two generations from the same flawed description give you two flawed tracks.
