How it works

No. AudioPod makes the audio: the backing track with the vocal removed, and the vocal on its own. It does not write, time or display lyrics and does not render a video, so pair the track with your own lyrics screen, karaoke app or video editor.
Yes. The Karaoke preset and vocal removal run on the free Basic plan at 660 credits per minute, and Basic includes 5,000 credits a month — about 7.5 minutes of audio, no card needed. A 4-minute song is 2,640 credits; Creator's monthly credits cover about 75 songs. See pricing for plan prices.
On Creator or above, select the backing track and the backing vocals in one job. They are priced as two groups, 660 plus 990 credits per minute (1,650 in all), so a 4-minute song is 6,600 credits. Mix the backing vocals under the backing track and the chorus keeps its harmonies while the lead is gone.
Each job is capped by plan: Basic 30 minutes · Creator 2 hours · Pro 5 hours · Studio 10 hours · Enterprise: no cap. A pasted link is limited by length only, not file size. You pay for the length of the song either way.
Download as MP3, WAV or FLAC, with 16- or 24-bit for WAV and FLAC, on every plan — the format changes the files, not the price.
It is our cleanest vocal and backing-track separation, on Creator and above, at 990 credits per minute instead of 660: 3,960 credits for a 4-minute song against 2,640. It applies when you split, not when you remove vocals into one file. Pay-as-you-go credits never expire ($1 buys 7,500).
Yes. The REST API runs the same splits at POST /api/v1/stem-extraction/extract, and the AudioPod MCP server's separate_stems tool lets an AI assistant run one and return the files.
