Runs entirely in your browser. Drop a quiet clip and peak-normalize it to a safe maximum, or boost it by an exact number of decibels. Nothing is uploaded.
Try it
The fastest way to even out a quiet recording without installing anything.
Lifts the loudest moment to just under the ceiling (−1 dBFS) so the whole clip gets as loud as it safely can without clipping.
MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A — up to 25 MB. We'll make it louder, right here in your browser.
How it works
The normalizer measures the loudest sample in your file, computes the right gain, applies it to every sample with safe peak limiting, and re-encodes a 16-bit PCM WAV — all on your machine, no server round trip.
Step 1
MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A or FLAC — up to 25 MB.
Step 2
Lift to a safe peak, or add an exact dB gain you choose.
Step 3
See the before/after peak, preview, then save.
