Runs entirely in your browser. Drop a WAV or MP3 in and we'll cut the dead air from the head and tail at -40 dB. Nothing is uploaded.
Try it
Best for voice-over takes, podcast intros and outros, and recordings that start a beat late. Output is a 16-bit PCM WAV ready for any platform.
…or click below to pick a file. Up to 25 MB. Nothing is uploaded.
How it works
The trimmer uses your browser's Web Audio API to decode the file, scan for the first and last samples above -40 dB, and re-encode the trimmed range as a 16-bit PCM WAV. The whole pipeline runs on your machine.
Step 1
WAV or MP3, up to 25 MB. We keep the cap low so the in-browser decode finishes fast.
Step 2
We scan from both ends for the first sample above -40 dB, with a short pre-roll pad so transients aren’t clipped.
Step 3
The trimmed range is encoded as a 16-bit PCM WAV in your browser and offered as a direct download.
AudioPod's full toolkit adds batch processing, mid-clip silence removal, transcription, voice cloning, and multi-platform export.
