2. Switch to Isolate (or Remove) and pick the vocals and choir rows you need.
3. Check the credit quote — it is shown before anything runs.
4. Download each part. Download as MP3, WAV or FLAC, with 16- or 24-bit for WAV and FLAC, on every plan — the format changes the files, not the price.

## Choosing between vocals and choir options

- Vocals only is on every plan, Basic included, and returns every voice together.
- Lead vs backing splits by role inside a pop arrangement; male vs female splits by voice type in a duet, not one singer from another in the same range. Each pair is one price for one or both parts.
- Choir targets a group of voices, as in film, orchestral or gospel recordings. For a pop lead singer with harmonies, lead vs backing fits better.

## FAQ

**Can I turn a vocal into MIDI?**
Yes: the Vocals stem converts to a MIDI melody on every plan, and Creator and above can choose the vocal specialist — see Vocals to MIDI. The choir and the vocal splits return audio only.

**Choir or backing vocals?**
Backing vocals when a lead singer has harmonies behind them; Choir when the whole part is a group of voices singing together.

**How much does it cost to isolate vocal parts?**
Each row in the table is one price group, charged per minute of source audio: Vocals only 660, Lead vocal only / Backing vocals only 990, Male vocal / Female vocal 990, Choir 1,320 credits per minute. Picking several groups in one job adds their prices. A 4-minute song through one 1,320-credit isolator is 5,280 credits — about $0.70 pay-as-you-go — and Creator's monthly credits cover about 37 songs that long.

**Which vocal parts are on the free plan?**
Vocals only, as part of the standard split (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other) that Basic runs from its monthly credits. Lead vocal only / Backing vocals only, Male vocal / Female vocal and Choir belong to the 45-instrument menu that Creator and above unlock. See /pricing for plan prices.

**Can I remove one of these and keep the rest of the song?**
Yes for Vocals only and Choir: switch the Stem Splitter to Remove mode and pick it. Removing costs the same and needs the same plan as isolating. Lead vocal only / Backing vocals only and Male vocal / Female vocal can be isolated but not removed.
