# Voice Cloning Consent Agreement > **Use this template** when you want to clone someone else's voice on AudioPod. Both parties fill in their details, sign, and store the signed copy. Email it to **rakesh@audiopod.ai** as part of any takedown dispute. Grant of rights Owner grants User the right to: 1. Train an AI voice clone of Owner's voice on the AudioPod platform. 2. Generate synthetic speech using that clone for the purposes described in Section 2. 3. Distribute the resulting audio in the territories and formats described in Section 3. Owner retains ownership of their underlying voice and likeness. This agreement grants a usage right, not a transfer of identity. --- ## 2. Permitted uses The clone may be used for the following purposes only: - [ ] Audiobook narration - [ ] Podcast production - [ ] Video voiceover (YouTube / social / commercial) - [ ] Marketing and advertising - [ ] Educational content - [ ] Live agents / conversational AI - [ ] Other: `[DESCRIBE_OTHER_USE]` The clone may **not** be used for: - Impersonation of Owner in fraud, scam, or social-engineering contexts - Political speech or political advertising without Owner's separate written consent - Defamatory, sexually explicit, or harassing content - Any content that depicts Owner endorsing a product or position Owner has not endorsed --- ## 3. Territory and duration - **Territory:** `[GLOBAL | SPECIFIC_COUNTRIES]` - **Duration:** This consent is valid from `[START_DATE]` until `[END_DATE_OR_INDEFINITE]`. - **Revocation:** Owner may revoke this consent at any time by emailing both User and rakesh@audiopod.ai. Upon revocation: - User must stop generating new audio with the clone within 7 calendar days. - Owner may request deletion of the clone and its training data from AudioPod. - Existing distributed audio created before revocation may continue to exist, subject to Owner's separate moral-rights protections under applicable law. --- ## 4. Representations - Owner represents that they are at least 18 years old and that the voice being cloned is their own natural voice. - Owner represents that no third party (e.g. a record label, a former employer) holds an exclusive right to Owner's voice that would conflict with this agreement. - User represents that they will use the clone solely for the purposes in Section 2 and within the limits of AudioPod's Responsible AI policy at https://www.audiopod.ai/responsible-ai. --- ## 6. AudioPod's role AudioPod is the platform that hosts the voice clone. AudioPod is not a party to this agreement, but AudioPod relies on User's acknowledgment that this signed consent exists. By accepting this consent at clone-creation time, User confirms to AudioPod that this agreement is in force. AudioPod may suspend or remove the clone at any time if: - A credible takedown report is filed against the clone (handled within AudioPod's 24-hour triage / 72-hour takedown SLA). - This agreement is shown to be invalid, forged, or revoked. - The clone is being used outside the scope of Section 2. --- ## 7. Both Owner and User should retain a copy. If you ever need to resolve a takedown dispute or prove consent to AudioPod, this signed document is the artifact we look at.
